Officer reports, picnic assignments, and open member questions. Quorum matters — if you are off, please make the meeting.

Picnic is 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Amelia Earhart Park, shelter 7. Bring the kids. The local is covering burgers, dogs, and water.

• Sign the shift board in the hall by September 5 if you can work the grill or coolers
• No glass, no department vehicles in the park lot

Medical, dental, and vision elections run September 8 through 19. Drop paperwork at the hall or scan it to the secretary.

Benefits office hours are Friday, September 18, 0900–1200 if you want a walkthrough of the Surest plan and vision summary.

The grievance committee needs a C-shift steward. If you have been off probation for a year and can take a call on your shift, talk to the VP before the September meeting.

Orientation packets for the August academy class are on the table by the office. Take one if you are riding with a probationary firefighter this tour.

Ask in the app can pull the CBA, civil service rules, and the pay table if they have questions between meetings.

Station 2 is replacing the range. The e-board authorized $1,200 from the station fund. Remaining cost is being split by the members assigned there — see Lt. Cole if you ride 2.

Approved minutes from the August 6 regular membership meeting are in the app. Motions from that night: picnic date, $500 to the burn foundation, and the October seminar seats.
